RI80 glass glaze high voltage resistor (commonly called red high-voltage rod resistor) is a special thick-film resistor designed for kV-level AC/DC and pulse circuits. It combines high withstand voltage, ultra-high resistance value and low inductance, widely used for high voltage voltage division, static bleed-off and arc suppression circuits. RI80 resistors adopt 99% high-purity alumina ceramic rod as substrate. Ruthenium-based precious metal paste is printed into serpentine non-inductive pattern and sintered above 800℃. The glaze film fuses tightly with ceramic core. A protective glass glaze coating covers the surface, with metal end caps. Two styles: axial lead type and threaded mounting type.
